In 1988, our company adopted the BIA
Homeowners' Manual,
Quality Standards &
Limited Warranty documents
and partnered with our Trades to ensure every JiAngelo
Project exceeded
these Industry
Standards. In 1998 JiAngelo added a
10 year Structural Warranty.
These warranties are a natural
extension of JiAngelo's company motto, "Built

Realtors and Buyers, for homes with a warranty;

is covered by our Warranties upon completion of
construction.
Maintenance Tips help Buyers understand what
must be done to properly maintain a home and defects
in material or workmanship are scheduled for Service
with JiAngelo.
How
Does it Work?
The Pre-Closing
Service List
Prior to signing a
contract, JiAngelo performs a walk through with
Buyers for a thorough examination of the home's
condition. Buyers are encouraged to hire a
qualified home inspector. In addition to the
property disclosure form provided by JiAngelo, the
history of the home is discussed and a service list
of repair or corrective items will be created and
made part of the sales contract, to be completed
prior to occupancy, or as otherwise agreed upon.
Ten days prior to closing a Pre-Occupancy
Walkthrough is performed to verify
progress/completion of the original pre-closing
service list
items.
The 120-Day
Service List
Three months after
closing, Buyers are requested to submit another list
of items discovered after moving in. By way of
example, newly discovered items typically include
loose or sticking doors/trim and/or inoperable
fixtures/appliances.
The One-Year
Service List
Eleven months after
closing, Buyers are requested to submit a final list
of items discovered or newly occurred.

is Covered?
For a period of one
year after closing, the following items are
warranted, as part of the home when originally
purchased;
